Website redesign.
Move forward with a plan.

An outdated website can make a good business difficult to understand. NovaSite.Cloud reviews the existing content, design and functionality before planning a redesign, so the new experience addresses real problems and accounts for what already works.

A considered approach

Find the reason for the redesign.

A change of appearance is only one possible goal. Your website may be hard to use on a phone, difficult to update, unclear about services or dependent on old tools. Start by identifying the problems that affect customers and the people maintaining the site.

01

Review the current site

Inventory the pages, forms, files and integrations. If available, use Search Console and analytics to understand which pages receive visits and which enquiries matter.

02

Keep useful content and routes

Retain useful explanations, accurate business details and established page addresses where possible. When a URL must change, map it to genuinely equivalent content rather than redirecting everything to the homepage.

03

Make the new structure clearer

Use the review to simplify navigation, separate distinct services and improve contact paths. The visual refresh should support a better information structure.

A considered approach

Treat launch as a migration, not a file swap.

A redesign can affect search discovery, incoming links, forms and existing email or hosting arrangements. The migration plan should name the old and new destinations, access requirements and checks needed after deployment.

01

Content and asset decisions

Confirm which photographs, copy, source files and licences may be reused. Missing assets or platform restrictions can change what is practical to transfer.

02

Technical continuity

Check redirects, canonical URLs, sitemap entries and indexing instructions. Keep a genuine not-found response for missing pages that have no suitable replacement.

03

A practical release plan

Agree the deployment process, keep a suitable backup and test important paths after launch. Monitor the new site rather than assuming a successful upload means every integration is working.

From the first brief
to the next step.

A clear sequence helps everyone understand the decisions, dependencies and checks involved.

  1. 01

    Audit

Review the current site, customer tasks and available search data.

  2. 02

    Agree what changes

Define retained pages, new content, visual improvements and integration work.

  3. 03

    Build and compare

Check the new experience against the agreed requirements on desktop and mobile.

  4. 04

    Migrate and monitor

Deploy the agreed URL mappings and review forms, indexing and performance after launch.

SCOPE & PRICING

Know what is included.

A redesign quote depends on the current platform, available files, number of pages and integrations. Published packages provide a reference point, but migration, content rewriting or custom functionality can change the quote. Share your current URL when you enquire.

A little clarity

Before you
get started.

Can we keep our domain name?

Usually, if your business controls the domain and can provide the required access. Existing email and other DNS records should be reviewed before hosting changes are made.

Will a redesign preserve our Google positions?

No specific position can be promised. Keeping useful URLs and content, using appropriate redirects and checking indexing reduces avoidable migration problems, but search visibility may still change.

Can only part of the website be improved?

Yes. The review may identify a focused change to navigation, service pages, mobile layouts or enquiry forms. A complete rebuild is not automatically necessary.

What should we supply for an initial review?

Send the current website address, the main problems, required features and any platform or hosting information. Search Console access or exports can help with page and migration priorities.
